Our manufacturers design and distribute bespoke and adjustable furniture in house, thus keeping prices competitive amongst the market.
The information below should give you an insight into some commonly asked questions.
There are many different options of rise and recline chairs available, with each one having its own benefit with regards to the individuals requirements. These can be discussed when you contact us.
The various discriptions and benefits are listed below:
MANUAL CHAIR
The manual chair has a mechanism that has a wall-hugging recline action. Manually operated by a handle which can be easily situated on the left or right hand side of the chair.
LIFT ONLY CHAIR
A mechanism that creates a lift only operation and not recline.
RECLINE ONLY CHAIR
A recline mechanism that has a wall-hugger action and no lift. The motor linkage is restricted to prevent lift.
WALLHUGGER CHAIR
This specially designed single motor mechanism literally requires only 4-5" of clearance behind the chair to recline.
3-WAY SINGLE MOTOR CHAIR
A single motor mechanism that will operate the back and leg rest together in one movement. This chair requires 12" - 15" of clearance behind to recline.
DUAL MOTOR CHAIR
This design uses two motors to operate both the footrest and reclining back independently.
2-WAY TILT-IN-SPACE CHAIR
This 2-way mechanism guarantees a smooth & controlled movement going into either recline or lift. Both the angle of the back and seat during these movements remain in a fixed position, making this chair ideal if you have a back problem and do not wish for the position of your back to change.
STATIC CHAIR
This chair is simply made to match and compliment our range of rise and recline chairs and settee's and has no moving parts.

Regal Button BackA mechanism that has a wall-hugging action recline. Manually operated by a handle, which can be either situated on the left or right hand side of the chair. The Regal is a strikingly beautiful button back chair with small delicate wings. Its traditional style gives it a timeless look.

Regent Flat BackA mechanism that has a wall-hugging action recline. Manually operated by a handle, which can be either situated on the left or right hand side of the chair. The Regent is a classic looking flat backed chair with large wings. The chair is complimented with a luxurious head roll, which adds to the comfort of this foam back. This chair also has the added benefit of the back being able to be manufactured if required using vasco foam, therefore providing the perfect solution to pressure management.

Royal Waterfall BackA mechanism that has a wall-hugging action recline. Manually operated by a handle, which can be either situated on the left or right hand side of the chair. The Royal is a practical chair with large supportive wings. Its modern style incorporates 3 bolster cushions, which all have zipped backs to enable the user to create their own personalised comfort. Its versatility makes it one of the most popular styles of chair available.

Hampton Large Wing Button BackA mechanism that has a wall-hugging action recline. Manually operated by a handle, which can be either situated on the left or right hand side of the chair. The Hampton is very similar in looks to the Regal, but the wings are larger therefore creating a back that looks neat and elegant. Its traditional style gives it a timeless look that will match many traditional 3-piece suites

H2O - Infection resistant waterproof velvet
H2O is a new collection of waterproof knitted polyester Crib 5 velvets, which is anti-microbial and anti-fungal. It is soft to the touch and embodies the distinctive intensity of colour that only polyester can give. Colours have been carefully selected to enhance any contract situation.This fabric does not support Microbial growth including:
Altinata, Asperigilus Niger, Cladosporium Herbarism, E Coli, Penicillium or Staphylococcus Aureus (M.R.S.A)
Panvelle
The market leader in waterproof contract upholstery fabrics, now recognised by the Queen's Award for Innovation. The only choice for extreme upholstery requirements: unrivalled technical performance and a vast choice of designs and colours.

Lambada
Lambada is a new collection of stain repellent genuine woven easy care polyester crib 5 velvets. It is soft and luxurious to the touch and embodies the distinctive intensity of colour that only polyester can give. Colours have been carefully selected and will enhance any home or contract situation.
Dollaro
Dollaro is corrected grain leather, finished with a pigmented topcoat embossed with an artificial grain pattern.
This type of leather is available in many solid colours and offers better light fastness, stain resistance and is more easily cleaned than its semi aniline and aniline cousins.
It offers excellent durability and will stand up to more robust use. Dollero is often used in the contract market, when treated to crib 5 standard.
