The Elk emergency lifting cushion lifts a fallen person simply and safely minimising moving, handling and transfer risks. Designed to be used with the help of a carer it can be used in the tightest of spaces. The Elk is used and recommended by many UK NHS Ambulance Trusts as key equipment to lift a fallen person. Operated by low air pressure using the Airflo power source.

Molift Smart folding mobile hoist

Molift Smart represents a completely new standard for lightweight mobile hoists. It is small, foldable and an excellent hoist for all types of lifts. It uses the same type of lifting slings as our other hoists.

Foldable in one piece, which means that you do not need to dismantle the lifter to take it with you when travelling or making home visits. We also supply a transport bag as an option.

Smart weighs little, making it more user-friendly. It also has a soft start/stop, two-speed lifting and a counter for the number of lifts made. This ensures greater comfort and safety.

Freeway 175 electric mobile hoist

The Freeway 175 mobile hoist with built in actuator cycle counter. An extremely well built hoist with high lift, can also lift from the floor with the correct sling. The hoist has a safe working load of 175kg or 27 stone and the equipment weighs only 37kg. The spreader bar goes as low as 635mm from the floor and the bar lifts to 1828mm which is very high for a hoist of this size. This hoist comes with an anti microbial coating.

Weightcheck 'HB' hoist attached weighing scales

The Weightcheck weighing scale are an EU Class III approved hoist attachment scale with BMI (body mass index). This battery operated scale is supplied with a range of fixings to ensure that it fits most patient hoists (suitable for ceiling track and mobile hoists). The scale takes just seconds to attach to the hoist by hanging it from the existing spreader bar (carry bar), offering a capacity of 200kg to a resolution of just 200g. The scale has hook attachments suitable for all loop fixing type slings. The scale uses a 9v PP3 battery, that will need to be replaced after approximately 40 hours of use.

Freeway Universal sling

The Freeway Universal sling design is a commonly used sling for general transfer purposes. This sling is easily fitted yet very supportive and the sling can be used in a divided leg or hammocked leg position. There are hip straps, quilted leg sections and no binding on the outer facing leg section seems for added comfort. There is a generous commode aperture for toileting purposes for clients not wearing any lower garments.

This sling is available in polyester, mesh and slip fit materials. The slip fit is designed to be easily inserted and removed.

Freeway Dual Access sling

The Dual Access sling is designed to be used with either a patient lifting hoist or a standaid and give access to remove and re-fit lower garments for toileting tranfers whilst a client is suspended in the sling. This sling can make toileting less time consuming than if performing a manoeuvre with fuller body type sling.

This sling has a V shaped boned padded back panel with non-slip surface for extra support, it has cut away sections under the arms.

Silvalea Straight Leg para-silk moulded wheelchair sling

The Silvalea Straight Leg para-silk sling has been designed to fit the moulded wheelchair systems. The Straight Leg design is loosely based upon the Universal shape. It comes with an adjustable taped head support with removable bones for extra support when needed. These slings come with soft seems as standard and a non slip section on the back of the sling so it keeps its position in the chair.
